Default Removing A.I.R. System

Tons of threads and plenty of searches... for a '01 Z

Driver side back by the junction what is the "T" fitting junction being held onto? I see a bracket and took one nut out and the bracket seems to bend around the backside of the head. Does it pop off that bracket? Also the solenoid seems to just be bolted to a bracket as well neither of these seem to be budging. My huge hands need to know what they're doing as I can barely see anything.

There is one more nut holding it on.. (on the very back super close to the firewall)if it's where I'm thinking..
It's bigger than the 1st one you took off..
mine is a 2000 though..
It MIGHT be just a tad different..

I just took mine off today. I tried unbolting the brackets but realized one must be bolted to the rear of the manifold. Not going there so... I popped the solonoid off the brackets with a flathead screwdriver. wasn't hard to do. And then I plugged up the vacuum line going to the back of the intake.

Me too ^^^ I need some specific info. I found a post that said that the LS6 intake doesn't have AIR plugged into the back. About to do OR LT's.
