PCV and hoses rotted out
170$ ?? i got mine from scoggins for waaaaay less......the previous style used a pcv in the hose to the intake.......the preforations in the new style act as a catch can within the valley cover.......so no need for a external pcv...........still not sure on which way air flows in the hoses.......previous to the LS6 vc install .........oil mist (gunk) accumulated in the TB from the valve cover hose which indicate that air flowed into the TB......have not looked at the TB since the install of the LS6 vc
And before anybody jumps on to tell me how misguided I am, don't bother. Your engine, your call. This one's mine and it ain't gonna happen.

i got that ls6 valley cover coming in soon, thanks a ton for all the info, i will let yall know how the install goes so we can clear some **** up, well for an 02 camaro anyways.

the LS2 cover does not have the holes for the knock sensors, as both your pics show... compare with pics in posts #41, #51.
this matters if installing on an LS1.
