Doesn't look like he used enough spacers to warrant adjustments IMO.

No adjustments on the driveline angle, didn't affect the TA enough IMO.

Weird that a brand new cam sensor would be crap? Replaced it new this spring, car hasn't ran until today and still no tach signal. Thinking shift light is the problem, will do some more research and see what I find. I don't mind pulling the intake for the cam sensor again, but I don't want to do it twice to find its a pinched wire somewhere else.

Let me know what you think. Valve train noise may be too much? (I may need to adjust the rockers), smoke is from new exhaust. Any thoughts on why my rpm gauge isn't working are appreciated as well. Sorry to hijack this thread, video is intended as Kooks LTs and TD startup

I had to use spacers for the UMI tunnel brace TA to make clearance and after a road test, sounds like I will need to add a little more. Pics:

What torque arm are you using exactly? Part number please and how much clearance? Stock rear?

UMI for all suspension parts. They list part number 2203 as a tunnel mounted TA for long tube headers. Rear is stock. Minimal clearance for the X-pipe at the tunnel brace/TA mount. I still need to add a spacer as I could hear it hit every once and a while.

Are you gonna make the muffler shorter to make room for a slip on or make the tips shorter? Any pictures of new setup for quad tips?

The revision is done to every system that we had in stock. The tips are now a slip fit we modified the in stock systems so what ships form here is "new". Yes the mufflers are the shorter 10" body now instead of the 12".

so what do i have to do to exchange my setup for the new revision? I have literally less than a 100mi on this exhaust setup and has been on the car less than 6mo. Im guessing all I need is from the axel back?

Any more new reviews from anyone? I'm strongly considering this system, but I have stainless works LT's and thinking of buying kooks LT's and the stainless TD system.

Have it and love it. A lot of guys including me went with the the shorter torque arm with the relocation bracket. It looks cool but if you have a lowered car clearance is a big issue. Roads with speed bumps, dips, and that arent maintained you will bottom out on the crossmember. I just recently replaced my umi system with the bmr long torque arm and relocation crossmember at the trans. I have a ton more clearance with that system.

On the m9 the housing will hit.... a member on here had to modify his kooks to clear the m9. The moser 9 is just fine.
Mine run fine with the dana

Have it and love it as well.....HOWEVER, it cost me a few hundo more in shop shop time to shorten and straighten it out.

Having bought this system when it first came out, fitment wasn't the best....system was too long, requiring cutting header flanges (Kooks 2") and pipe between the tips and muffler to "tuck" them even further under the car AND to level them out. (mine weren't as bad, but note "backdrafts" car).

Glad to hear the made some adjustments. Otherwise, pretty badass system.....should never need another one.

^^ Kooks is now making the tips in a slip fit so it's not an issue anymore. I'd just verify when you order to make sure it isn't old stock.

Mine is on and I love it, looks and sounds amazing. I also have Kooks 1-3/4" LT's. We also had some fitment issues to get those quad tips to line up so I also had to have it modified at a local muffler shop which cost me an extra few hundred bucks.

Before:

After:

FYI this car made 425/412 on a mustang dyno with this exhaust, ported 243's, LS6 intake and an EPS 222/226 baby cam.

I agree, that's a crap load of money for an exhaust that doesn't fit from the get go! I'll hang onto my GMMG!
