I got under the car yesterday and looks like the only good place is just before it angles up over the axle, right where the two clamps are. Only problem is that is where the exhaust is at it's lowest.
Oh yea I am sure the cam is making the exhaust a bit louder at idle and part throttle. I agree the exhaust is loud and probably a touch too loud for a daily driver, but perfect for weekend cruiser.

Your only options is to put cats on it or change the mufflers.

I have been seriously thinking about putting a set of stranos on but I may end up going bigs and littles with 17x5's up front and 15x10's in the rear. 28" tire should fill up the fender gap nicely and no loss of ground clearence. However I have always been partial to 17's all the way around on these cars....decisions decisions.

I will get you guys pics and fender measurement of mine. I've just been busy and the garaged is stacked with too many projects. Dust off time is alllmost here.

When people say its loud but not too loud... You have to realize that the drivers perspective, and all the other normal people out and about are going to have two different opinions.

Mines got an aggressive cam and I absolutely start sweating bullets when I see cops sitting behind me at a light on main street. Again, not a daily driver by any means. But its loud, stinky, and clearly not legit in more than a handful of ways. I don't like to poke the bear so I do my fair share of luggin about LOL.

Was under the car yesterday and I noticed something that has kind of been bugging me. Both tail pipes are starting to get something that looks like rust at the welds. The picture is kind of crappy since I took this at night and had no flash but you can still see what I'm talking about. Is it typical for stainless steel to rust when welded?

Wow, that sucks!! Is that at the tips? I'm contemplating Kooks TD's but I don't like the quad 4" tips. However I heard the tips are removeable now. Is this true? Does anyone have pics and measurements of how long the quad tips are? I'd like to be able to just clamp on my corsa 3.5" quads.

Thanks but I like the 3.5" quad tips. If Kooks made those, I'd get them but they only make the 4"ers

This.

Things like noise are completely subjective. I love my 4k stall, but many would say it was too much for them. Take people's opinions as just that, opinions.

Finally got my Kooks TDs installed. Very straightforward install and the fit and finish was awesome. I'll have some vids this weekend. PS - don't mind the dirty car. It'll be cleaned up after I roll it out of the garage.

I do have a question: there are bungs for rear O2s in the off-road version of the system. What's the deal with that? Now I have to find something to seal those holes. I'm guessing an M18 x 1.5 would work? I have the rear O2s tuned out.

Most people just install the sensors anyway. If not, you should be able to get a screw cap for the bungs at an autoparts store, or online.

Anyone looking for these, we have some awesome deals if you are ready to buy. Call us @ 443-730-9428!

Okay. Yeah, I'd rather do a cap than a plug. Most M18 plugs are for oil pans. I'm not sure they'd like the exhaust heat. I did see that Kooks sells the same SS plug that's in the header for the wideband O2, but they are $13 a pop. Blah.

you could just throw some trashed o2 sensors to plug them and snip the wires.

Yeah. I don't have any old O2s. I got the Kooks Stainless Plugs. I liked it on the Wideband for the headers. Won't leak or break apart.
