Default BORLA owners come

I am thinking on getting a Borla catback system. I would like to know what you people think of the system. Pros and Cons. Any problems with it so far. Customer service. Basically an OVERALL review of the system. thanks

It was either Borla or Corsa... still undecided

I absolutely LOVE mine. the pros, its stainless with a million mile warranty, and best of all if you want it loud, you take out the plate. you want it almost stock quiet, you block it off. I picked up 17 hp and 12 ft-lb with mine. cons are the price, but if you are looking at either the corsa or borla, I think the Borla will be the less expensive one.

I have a McCord power plate in mine, so i can change the sound right from my seat. I think its more than worth it for the Borla.

I love mine, its a badass sound and the whole system itself just seems extremely solid and well built.

I had a Borla on my SS and it was ok, but I was looking for something with more PUNCH! I ended up ripping off my Random Tech hi-flow cats and replacing the Borla with a Loudmouth for now! It gives a new meaning to LOUD and RAW power! I plan to swap it for either a Corsa or SLP DD with dual QTP cutouts, or I may just swap in the BORLA XR1 muffler for the SLP resonator.

Put anti-sieze on those bolts and you shouldnt have a problem. I never had a problem when I was still using plates, except that the bolts were so darn long.

I just drilled them out and put bolts thru them instead of threading them. Also I dont have plates anymore

Put the Borla on my 02 two years ago and it looks like it's brand new. I think it sounds great and I like being able to adjust. I use a little wheel bearing grease on the bolts and never had a problem. With full block off plate it is almost too quite. And with the 2 3/4 inch plate it is LOUD. I even made some home made plates. Great system.
