PS don't use the LM2! You buy LoudMouths to be loud!

I don't know about the already setup system that SLP sells but the mufflers/resonators themselves are as none restrictive as you can get. They are HOLLOW!!! I have a custom setup, true dual to an X pipe then into 2 LM1's then under the axle and out into 2 3" chrome slash tips. Sounds AMAZING!! And I am about to put on a lid, smooth bellow, Pacesetter ceramic LT's and Magnaflow Hi-Flow heavy metal cats. Then it will be loud as HELL!!! Can't wait.........

I have never been pulled for it. Officers here in VA don't pull you for stuff like that....

Yup, but the necking shouldn't kill power that bad. When you are getting on it, the exhaust is flowing enough that the baffles don't restrict much. They do more wuieting at idle and low speeds(low exhaust flow).

Not entirely true.... I had LM2's on my true dual LS1 setup, even at high rpm they are way quieter than the LM1's I swapped them for. Just saying from experience, the LM2's have a nice sound but if you want loud AND sound then go with LM1's......

No, it won't restrict flow, their mufflers are as straight through as you can get. If you want sound quality, they're not for you but if you want obnoxiously loud then they're for you...

I think they do that to kinda force the noise into the packing. I really don't think it narrows the flow path that much to hurt performance. Only a flow bench test could really tell though.

You were looking at a LM2. IMO, don't go with either LM setup, unless you like loud with no tone. Many other options out there that sound nice, where LM is just loud...but for some people getting noticed is why they own the car.
I should add, LM's are ok when it's just a catback, but adding ORY, headers, and esp a cam makes them raspier than ****.
