Good bunch of info Rev, thanks for the link. Nope, I didn't read it all, it is a lot.

I have had zero issues using the 13111's and I do believe many others here have experianced the same.

I've had 13111s on my Z28 for 3-4 years now, never had an issue. My dad has extensions on his WS6 for 3 years with no issues.

The real solution is to tune those DTC's out. Do you know somebody who can tune? You're going to want some tuning to maximize your LT's performance anyhow.

BTW, I have a extra pair of extensions lying around. I'll ship 'em to you for $20 if you want to try 'em. Not a big investment and they just may work. PM me if interested.
I'mputting O2 bungs in on the reducer after my cats for the rear O2's just so I can install them for a "visual" inspection to pass. I live 20 miles away from Tuned by Frost. He is doing my DYNO and will be erasing my rear O2 codes anyways, possibly my EGR and AIR codes also. I don't want to erase my front O2 codes because I don't want my A/F ratio's messed up after my tune. I know that if the front O2's are not functioning it can mess the tale up and make your motor run rich or lean and I don't want to spend 375 on a DYNO just to have them screw it up.

Steve will get you sorted out, then. The typical codes thrown by the front O2's on LT's (slow response, etc.) don't have much effect, if any, on AFR's. Nevertheless, I agree that it's best to have them in top working order for your tune. After that, you can tune out the typical DTC's and not worry about them anymore. That's what did.

The Corvette rears used with LT applications are $55 ea on that site. Still much better than the $90 or so they were going for several years ago. Jegs is still asking $95 for them.

Get the densos they are about the same price as bosches and are OEM for every new gm vehicle. If your o2's have 90k on them they are probably already worn out and not switching very fast usually people who have lts and use their old high mileage sensors will crap them out in not to long of time. The bosches work for some people but I have seen the 2 switch side by side and can tell you the densos and ngks do it much faster also for every person who has the bosches it seems there are just as many people who have issues with them. Heres my story I got headers at 102k and used extensions one o2 crapped out in a month, ok i went to the store and got a bosch replacement because i needed the car. That bosch lasted 3 months and took a dump I finally said screw it and ordered the densos they've been great too me for almost a year... Again no issues with extensions however with your sensors being that old they probably could use a new set and so why not just eliminate the need for extensions?

Are the wires on the denso's long enough to not need extentions like the bosch's are, or will I have to use extentions on the denso's?

The part number listed above is for the ones that don't need extensions (Corvette rears).

Go with the vette o2s instead of extentions. Theres less chance for wire malfunction. Most of us have small issues with o2s and LTS after instal so do yourself a favor and eliminate potential problems from extra connections.

I was just about to order new stock 02 sensors and some extenders. I think I will go with some corvette rear 02's after reading this. Thanks for the heads up. These would be for rear 02 out of a 02-04 c5 correct?

Quick Reply: O2 extentions or Bosch 13111's?!?!?!
