Leaning towards the LS6 but the only thing I dont like is the stockish look kind of bothers me. Any opinions on the bbk or something around the same price. (not f.a.s.t)

Mods are in sig.

BBK...no way. Maybe put a sticker on the ls6 that say's "not stock" for that added piece of mind that it's not stock. LS6 wins over the BBK.

Nothing wrong with the BBK SSI. Yeah it's aluminum, but but so are the heads and block.
I've got the BBK w/ported 85mm TB, and IMO it's a step up from the ls6 w/78mm ported TB. You can also run a 90mm TB by slightly opening up the inlet.

The not stock comment made me laugh. I love how the bbk looks though.

Yeah I would go with the ls6 you could always have it powder coated or paint it,for 300 you just can't beat the ls6,if not a ls6 go with a fast a lil more but looks a lot better than the bbk,its up to you though a bbk is better than no intake,

If I were in your position, I'd do the BBK.

You can pick up the LS6 used in good shape for 300-325 all day. Check out the classifieds. If all your considering is this or the BBK, I say go with the LS6. If your concerned about its stock look, smooth and paint it to match your car.

A big reason against a metal intake is that the heat from the block and heads will move to the intake manifold much more easily than with a composite manifold. More heat = less dense air, less power and in some cases more chance of detonation. Used LS6 intakes usually go for around $300, and they're just as good as new ones. And if you are patient you could probably find a used FAST 90 or 92 for around $600-$700.

I'm selling my LS6 here in a couple weeks once my FAST 90 goes on, on the 28th. Low miles and in perfect shape.
