Default Ls2 and Ls3 intake manifold on an Ls1?

Hey guys, quick question. Will an Ls2 intake manifold or Ls3 intake manifold fit on an Ls1 with no issues?

How would a rectangle port intake (LS3) fit cathedral port heads?

Like lemons said... LS2 yes, LS3 no. You would need rectangle port heads for the ls3 intake to work.

The ls2 is better... Just wait for an ls6. You can buy them all day for 300$ and it will take you a long way. Port your tb at the same time.. will be a nice 10+rwhp gain with better throttle response.

Make sure you don't take away too much material around the blade... It will cause your car to idle high and bad = new TB.

How does the Ls2 work if the Ls3 does not? I was looking into them and they also have rectangle ports so whats the difference?

No LS2 intakes are cathdral port only. LS3 is rectangle port. I agree, find a LS6 intake P&P your throttle body and be done with it.

Yeah ls6 is the best one to go with,p&p your tb is really easy did mine with a few different grits of sand paper and a dremel, also do the throttle stop while your at it so the blade will open more
