Deciding on a clutch set
So hopefully sometime this week I will be ordering a clutch set, however, I am so indecisive on what set to get. Everyone is telling me different things! Ahh!
So I shall ask ls1tech what they think
The use of the clutch is obviously to replace oem (its worn to hell) and to last me the next year or more (in which time I plan to make it up to 450hp)
So that's it. I just want to hear the bad/good/etc experiences with different clutches and what you all think will be perfect for me.
(also not that I am getting an oem flywheel [you can't change my mind on this, I am not spending triple for a lightweight... its not worth it to me])

For streetability, the LS7 clutch seems to be really popular, reliable, and affordable. I am also in the same predicament, but the most power my car will see is 400 rwhp.

Ls7 is a good choice, but 450 hp I would look into the monster clutch also, they have pretty good kits, just make sure you get the right stage for what you will be doing with the car, also a mod to think about is the tick master, its kinda pricey but worth every penny, one of my best mods to date, think texas speed has the best deals on the monster kits,

Thanks guys! I shall be looking into the Monster. I knew there was a section better for clutches, but I must have overlooked it, I didn't see it. :/

I've got a Textralia Exoskel, it was in the car when I bought it. It's.....tricky. Holds like a **** though. It's pretty chattery if you try to slip it. It will actually buck somewhat below 1500rpm due to the cam, sometimes I have to push it in and let it back out with a rev. I've had a couple of friends try to drive it and let it go dead the first few times, my father in law was ok with it (he's got a big block chevelle with a Muncie M22), and amazingly my wife was ok the first time.
