I've got some CRAZY gains from this! My tuner called and said I'm leaning out so I need a fuel pump now. No biggie. The tax return can handle that. Racetronics 255. He said my injectors were opened up all the way at 97% because the fuel pump was running out of room.
That's all I'm beyond ecstatic with the numbers soo far! And there's STILL more power to be made!

^ I would say got for it.. Check the first page on this. I added a LOT of links. Mamo might be the one to ask on this one.
And I did some minor smoothing and my overall gain from the 102/102 swap, injectors and UDP was WAY over what I expected! Still not quite done yet. Got a Racetronics 255 pump on the way. I was leaning out.

If anyone's interested, cares or needs one, I've got my Godspeed 102 TB for sale. It's never been used, just mounted for a mock up. I just came up on a FAST for a KILLER deal so I have no use for this one.

My buddy Terry and I just got finished installing the 102/102 . It went pretty easy but if you dont have tools you will be going back and forth to a parts store! Including a grinder !!! It did not like the Meizere Water pump that was the only area that need grinding! But all else was smooth. Ended up grinding the lower left front area of intake and the lower left area of the throttle body to clear the Meizere EWP. Fits like stock *lol* put a LPE 100mm Maf and hooked it up to the Volant air intake!!!!

So, from reading through this thread, I'm guessing you would have to be making some pretty significant numbers to take full advantage of this manifold? It's pretty large so I could easily see why.
But, on the other hand, I can't wait to see what kind of numbers people are getting from swapping to this manifold.

^ Not exactly. The intake can only flow as much as the heads. Impossible for it to pull more air than the heads will allow.
Wast of money on a stock internal car? Yeah... It'll be more worth it on a h/c+ car.

That's what I was getting at. This intake does not seem like it would be very beneficial on your average bolt-on LS1

I already posted most of this information on another thread which is located at the following link, but I wanted to at least give this thread some love since it provided me with so much information during my swap.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...l#post14894916
All pulls were conducted on the Mustang Dyno at Thunder Racing on 09MAY2011.
The heads and cam are stock.
Base Line Information:
Intake: Stock LS6
TB: Stock LS1
MAF: SLP 85mm
Lid: SLP
Bellow: SLP Smooth
Baseline Run: 322hp & 317tq
Intake Swap Modifications:
Intake: FAST LSXr 102mm (Mamofied)
TB: NW 102mm (Vengence P&P)
MAF: N/A
Lid: FTP 104mm
Bellow: 4.25" Silicone Hose
Tune: Speed Density Tune by Thunder Racing
Post-Swap Run: 340hp & 330tq
Net Gain: +18hp & +13tq
All other modifications listed in my signature were present during both the baseline and post-swap run.
Sorry for the crappy photos. All I had was my phone and I had not slept in 30 hours. Overall, I am very satisfied. My acceleration is more responsive and the sound the intake makes when it goes WOT is glorious. Enjoy the results.

^ LS3 and 102? I've read the differences between those are negligible. Apparently the LS3 intake is pretty stout.
And I got my tentative final numbers (Long story.)

Yup, I was wrong. At that time, I was a naysayer and had no idea that this intake would respond at all to motors that were basically stock.

^ There is a LOT of good reading in two threads I posted somewhere in here. Basically what it boiled down to was between a stock 92 and a stock 102, there was a 5cfm flow diffference (+) with the 102 on 243 heads on a 4" bore. That was enough proof to tell me that it was, indeed, a different intake. The 102 is a better designed intake and the 102mm opening has little to do with how the intake will perform. It's basically an ITB intake with a common plenum. Very badass, IMO.
My throttle response is instant now. Car runs great even with an SD tune.
