I had to grind side of bell houseing just a bit. Only seen one other person have this issue and we both just did 1 7/8 ARH headers.

This is where ARP header studs come in handy.

Whats funny is my buddy's car isn't loud at all right now and all it has is open headers into 1ft of pipe (single section pieces of a tsp true dual kit).

It's quieter than my other buddys car with LM1 and WAAAY quieter than my car with cutouts mounted a foot back from the headers (my car is even louder open headers than open cutouts)

Hopefully going to do my install this weekend, weather permitting. It better stop effing snowing! haha

Is it necessary to get a tune after the LT install? I'm also installing an LS6 intake at the same time.

That's y I bought hptuners. Although its pretty complicated its just a one time fee and dyno tunes are cheaper.

I maybe starting something I don't want to but can u bend valves with open headers? I have heard that but I have heard a lot of things

No you will not bend valves, that is a myth.

It might hurt o2 sensors though, so at least try to put some pipe on there to keep cold away from them.

I daily drive the car and fuel mileage is better than big block.

Also, EFI was cake with ls1 since it's all stock...no more POS carb to adjust all the time, starts every time I hit the key, lost some weight, looks wicked, makes great power, and now that it's done would make a larger lsx type engine cake to put in later.
