well with a grinder and some elbow grease it went in. to all those gonna do this by yourself tie a rope around the last and front pipes hold it with your other hand to put the bolts in. i would have pics however its hard to hold a bolt in one hand header up with a rope in the other and a camera in your mouth. lol

Whats funny is my buddy's car isn't loud at all right now and all it has is open headers into 1ft of pipe (single section pieces of a tsp true dual kit).
It's quieter than my other buddys car with LM1 and WAAAY quieter than my car with cutouts mounted a foot back from the headers (my car is even louder open headers than open cutouts)

Hopefully going to do my install this weekend, weather permitting. It better stop effing snowing! haha
Is it necessary to get a tune after the LT install? I'm also installing an LS6 intake at the same time.

That's y I bought hptuners. Although its pretty complicated its just a one time fee and dyno tunes are cheaper.
I maybe starting something I don't want to but can u bend valves with open headers? I have heard that but I have heard a lot of things

I daily drive the car and fuel mileage is better than big block.
Also, EFI was cake with ls1 since it's all stock...no more POS carb to adjust all the time, starts every time I hit the key, lost some weight, looks wicked, makes great power, and now that it's done would make a larger lsx type engine cake to put in later.
