A fool is one who gives advice on something he knows nothing about.

A fool is also one who gives advice when he didn't read the thread. He stated in the original post that the the arm wasn't touching the bumpstop.

Go back and read what the man posted.

FOOL.

on your throttle cable going to your throttle body theres a splitter, pull out the little tab that snaps in to it, you'll see what looks like threads on the inside, have your g/f hold the pedal to the floor, if you pull on the cable the goes into the splitter there should be a little slack in there, pull on it enough to take up the slack, after that simply snap the little tab back in till it clicks all the way, that should be giving you full throttle now

OP, here's a decent write up on how to do the bumpstop mod. In the thread are responses about the effect.

The bumpstop mod isn't really worth much at all, maybe 1-2 horsepower if it's really off.

I also like how people keep saying the throttle bodies only open to 75% from the factory. More internet BS.

They should stop calling this ls1tech and start calling it ls1myths.
