OBX long tube headers
2) what Y pipe or X/H pipe you have
OBX y pipe
3) what catback you have
SLP Loud Mouth
4) what cats your running
OBX "resonators"
5) any tuning you did/needed
Got the recommend lt,egr/ air delete for no ses light : tuning by Frost
6) any verifiable dyno gains due to your exhaust setup
Not dynoed before headers
7) small review
Great quality for price, weld dont use clamps, and as for any ypipe it bangs
8) would you recommend your setup to somebody else.
I would recommended it, many say this setup has rasp but mine doesnt have much and am told it sounds great. Although an auto with a stall it is too loud for around town/neighborhood roads.

That sounds good to me. By around town do you mean normal driving or wide open bursts?

PACESETTER RACE LT'S
JET-HOT ORY (SHINY HOOKER)
EDELBROCK SDT CATBACK

STOCK TUNE

I'd recommend this setup, sounds kick *** when compared to my magnaflow cant beat the price, comes with awesome accu-seal clamps and hangers.
no rasp, the tips with the catback are fricken long, will switch to corsa and see if it sounds any different. i'd compare this to lm1 and magnaflow mixed together

1) MAC mid length - on car when bought

2) MAC Y with gutted Cats - on car when bought

3) SLP Dual/Dual Catback - bought used for 75 bucks, replaced stock crap

4) No tuning, it would be a waste as I am amassing parts right now

5) Dyno Gains - Never on dyno, but SLP Dual/Dual registered on assmeter a 'lil

7) No files, etc.

8) I would recommend the catback to those who like a subtle sound. I really like how mellow it is and can live with it every day. I would skip the mids and Y because the Y is very low to the ground and you could get a good deal on used LT's if your savvy.

1) Kooks 1 7/8" 3" collectors
2) 2.5" H pipe made by me
3) True Duals
4) I don't have pets
5) Tuned with HPT by me
6) No idea.. on the power gains or losses.
7) I got sick of my old setup on the daily drive. My old setup... basically Flowmaster 1 chambers on the collectors..
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....&postcount=137
Sounded great and super deep and just overall wicked sounding but too much interior resonance to where I could not hear my stereo so it was getting old..

This new setup sounds bad *** and is plenty loud but not overbearing to where I can't hear my stereo or the person next to me like the old setup. Plus I seem to have gained a bit of midrange as the car pulls nicer in lockup at rpms below 3000 than it used to due to the increased scavenging form the h pipe. Basically Sweet thunder mufflers are wicked! too bad they don't have any with 3" cores so those of you with 3" pipes be aware Sweet thunders will neck down to 2.75" inside the mufflers.
8) Yes I would Recommend the setup to others looking for a great sounding loud setup that is not crazy loud.

Here is a Video of the exhaust just a couple revs and idle with a couple still shots in there. Car is stock internal only bolt ons.

View Video on FQuick

once more pic.. As you can see its tucked up really nice.

4) what cats your running
5) any tuning you did/needed
6) any verifiable dyno gains due to your exhaust setup.
7) small review (or large if you like) of your over all setup, any tips you'd like to add concerning the combination.
8) would you recommend your setup to somebody else.

I really like the sound of the Hooker system, especially with a cam and headers (coming soon).
8) would you recommend your setup to somebody else.
I would absolutely recommend it. I would also say to have the Hooker tips angle cut like I did, they look much better!

This is a perfect blend between having a quiet exhaust for daily driving, and decently loud when you get on it, and it sounds great.

8) would you recommend your setup to somebody else.
Absolutely.

1) Pacesetter LT Headers

2) Custom 3" x-pipe

3) Custom 3" True-duals to CME tips

4) No cats

5) Tuned by Steve at LSXtune.com

6) I gained 20rwhp but installed an 85mm lid and MAF and a 9" at the same time so not sure how much was from the exhaust. Old setup was the same LT headers and SLP dual/dual catback with cutout.

7) Sounds great but its really loud. Also requires the panhard relocation to fit duals over the axle and fitment around my UMI tunnel mount torque arm is very close and it bangs sometimes.

8) I would definately recommend this setup if noise is not an issue. It sounds way better than any Y-pipe setup I have ever heard and its not quite as loud as TD's dumped.

1) what headers you have
Hedman 1 3/4 to 3" collector
2) what Y pipe or X/H pipe you have
3" Y with dual 3" cutouts
3) what catback you have
Dumped 2 chamber flowmaster
4) what cats your running
None

Just got this done today, had the edelbrock catback but im cutting weight out of the car, the Y pipe was also 2.75 to fit the stock catback but my shop cut it and made it a 3" I pipe to a dumped 2 chamber, the sound is that deep muscle car bassy sound from idle to 2000 then sounds good at WOT, loud and throaty.

I would reccomend it to someone using cutouts, although i feel no power loss like people say, costed me 70 for the muffler + 80 for the pipe, hanger, paint, and labor.

1) Pacesetter 3/4-3" Coated Racing (no egr)
2) X-Pipe 3"
3) Custom True Dual 3" Borla XR-1 tubes dumped
4) none
5) none
6) none
7) 3 inches all the way out, dumped on the passenger side before the axle. Sounds amazing IMO. Great tone, rarely any rasp, loud. Stock cam. Offset to the side so it will be easier to run a tunnel brace mounted torque arm.
8) Would and wouldn't. Mufflers are a little too big, scrap easily at stock height. Still wouldn't trade the sound for any other exhaust.

1) Pacesetter LTs
2) Custom 2.5" y pipe
3) Borla XR-1
4) No Cats
5) My previous muffler was a flowmaster single chamber 10 series race muffler. it was loud as **** and sounded good, but had a ton of rasp at 2500 rpms. this muffler is a little quieter and more refined and has 0 rasp. its awesome and i love it.
6) This is a cold start and the idle needs to get turned down. its idles at about 1100-1200. and im not sure what cam i have, it was in there when i bought it. i think its an ls6 or something small.
