How do I block off this extra hose? Just run a breather over it and push it aside? What size is the hose? Anyone have a P/N for a breather they used? How important is that line that it is kept clean and in fresh air? Any help would be great! I am making my own intake for a 2002 Z28 with an otherwise stock engine.

if deleted ,you can cap off plug the left side valve cover.remove the hose completely.don't use a breather cap ,keep the engine sealed and add a oil catch can and repair the remaining PCV system.

Gary, thanks for the response. Since I don't have access to the tuner, is it ok to just pop a breather on it? What purpose does it even serve? Also, what size breather should I look for? Or what diameter hose is it?

Remove the entire AIR system and plug the hole with a
plastic chassis plug from Lowes.

I just deleted my AIR system and kept the breather. Let me know if you want it.

I want to delete it, but with no access to a tuner, its gonna throw the CEL.

AwsmGy, where did you get the breather? What size is it?
