Installing Mac headers have questions..

Installing Mac headers have questions.. Have a few ?'s I thought the lines for Air were different on a 98 than a 2002. I have 2002 headers and the air hookups look the same. I read somewhwere that said all mac headers have egr hookups. I dont see any. Im getting rid of it anyway. And last- Does anyone have a write up on installing Macs. I know i will have to remove the coil packs and other stuff, but what else? Thanks Tony

i could of sworn you had macs already, must be reading things 
the 98-99 and 00-02 tubes look the same, there just at a different angle. mac makes 98-99 an 01-02 headers, so obviously the 01+ dont have the egr.

Just make sure they are seated in the cover. Seen them twist up...

Verdad Gallardo It's not...just take your time. You might want to remove the cowl fasteners as they are razor-sharp and will cut you when you are fumbling around at the back of the valve covers. I would also not even bother trying to reinstall the rearmost coil-pack bolts...

Hey Tony, the quickest and easiest way to install these is both sides from the bottom.... either grind the useless block tap or diconnect your steering linkage on the drivers side and on the passenger side, take off the 4 bolts to the motor mount and jack up the engine until you have enough clearance. One they are in, let motor down and bolt everything up. A good time estimate would be 4 to 6 hours to get it all finished start to finish.
