Default How much do the stock exhaust manifolds weigh?

I just put on my Hooker LTs and custom ORY-pipe and went to pick up the box o' OEM leftover parts.......holy crap was that box heavy!

Does anyone know how much the stock exhaust manifolds, cats and y-pipe weigh? I'm guessing by doing this swap I may have eliminated close to 50 lbs as the Hookers and custom ORY are aluminum.

12 years later, but I do have the answer. My stock manifolds off my 2000 SS weighed 26lbs. My stock exhaust from the cats back to tips weighed 67lbs. This included a MangnaFlo muffler.

OP, you mean the headers and Ypipe are stainless steel, not aluminum

The thin gauge stainless used for headers and pipes is fairly lightweight for how large they appear

My SE 1 7/8" LT's weigh 10lbs each. Keep in mind that LT's are covering the same distance as manifolds and cats. Of course larger/dual exhaust will eat away some of the weight savings.
