Question My Dumps are causing unwanted attention

Well in the small city I moved to a few years back has a young police force trying to make a name for themselves and my current set-up Kooks 1.875" headers to Speed Inc. true duals (Dumps) before the axal,is causing me some unwanted attention from them.
It's loud!!!

I would like to tone down my exhaust a bit and put a cat-back (3") back on but don't know what to go with?
Awhile back I tried Flowmaster,Corsa,GMMG and found I preffered the Dumps to all of them But again this no longer a option.

Can anyone recommend a good system for my set up (See Sig.)?
Mufflex/SpinTech,TD over the axle,or any other kick-*** setup??

Are u actually getting a ticket/pulled over for this? Probably a ws6 catback would quiet it down a lot

Not interested going to a stock set-up.Something a notch or two down from where it's at.

Mufflex would quiet it down a bit. The Hooker should not be large enough for your setup.

I just went from a magnaflow catback to a TSP duals dumped with bullets and love it. Will not go back at all. Love the mean musclecar sound.

If you are really trying to calm it down, the catback i really like is Hooker. Its pretty quiet and tame just like magnaflow, but it has a more deep rumble, and muscle car sound to it.

Also, Borla isnt a bad option either. Just dont like the tips. I remember crusing right next to another fbody with borla and you can hear that deep sound at cruising.

Since you have true duels I would look in to Bassani.

I'd swap the current ones out for a set of 3" Borla XR1, they have a deep mean sound, but are very tolerable on the street.

Swap what out? The SpeedInc are headers to dumps.

Borla Adjustable with an E-Cutout -- complete control. Problem solved, volume control from the driver seat.

I'm confused as hell! Speedinc has dumps for these cars? I thought LPP and TSP were the only two that actually made a kit.

i suggest whatever mufflers you have, (or lack there-of) putting high flow cats in, and swapping the mufflers for some XR1's or similar.

the cats and quieter mufflers will tone it down a lot, and also keep that muscle car sound you love about the duals.

I'm not sure on that, I would suggest you send a message to ZexGX. I know he's running the true dual Bassani.
