Default 02 sensors help

On my 2000 Trans Am I just went from stock headers to long tubes. The long tubes are Hooker Super Competition and only have one 02 sensor connection at the collector.

I know that I can eliminate the rear 02 connections and the fronts are the only one's I need to connect.

I do not know what 02 sensor is for the front.

Here is what i have?

They all have a logo of "AC" with a circle around it but the part numbers are different.

I have

AFS 97 - 1 each
AFS 98 - 2 each
AFS 116 - 1 each

I do not know which one's i need to hook up.

Does anyone know???

You can look them up on AC Delco's web site.

I just installed my ARH 1 7/8's LT's & ARH catted Y this last Sunday..........I bought 2 new Bosch PN#13111 O2 sensors & they seem to be working excellent so far. I really liked them also because they are readily available at any O'reilys & they require no extension to work with LT's. I had a easy 9" of slack in the o2 leads once I installed them that I zip-tied up.

I bought Denso o2 sensors. Part number denotes connector type and LENGTH of the wire... just a heads up. I went to the PCM and pulled out the front o2 wires/connectors completely. Then I put the rear o2 harness where the fronts go, and use stock length o2 sensors. No extensions, no splicing, use your stock o2s and stock wires without a problem.

Excellent post. And for those who dont feel confident in pulling this off, run a Bosch 13111 and be done with it.

TransAm_VS_VR-4: a couple photos would be the finishing touch on your post.

For those who are wondering how long the Bosch 13111 wires are, I measured 44" long lol. I had tons of slack and running pacesetter longtubes.
