Default Plug wires with headers?

I just about finishing up my pacesetter install, and i got a new set of MSD plug wires. I'm curious to know what you guys are doing to keep the plugs away from the headers because it seems they are a extremely close to the primary's, especially the second one in on the passenger side that has the bridge for the A.I.R, should i get heat shields for all of them, or is their another set of wires that will fit better?

I've got headers and the same MSD wires without the heat shields. They heat hasn't seemed to bother anything.

As long as they are about 1 inch away from the primary thats about the best its gonna get. They are made for this so don't worry about it too much. Also, remember they have bendable boots, so that should help.

I had LS2 plug wires and one was pressing against my Jet-Hot
primaries, the heat cooked the rubber and breached the insulation.
I now have a perfectly good set of 7....

Thanks! i did't realize the boots were that flexible, right now they all seem okay i might get the shields for extra protection..The only one bothering me is the one by the EGR bridge but im sure i can find a way to fix it.
