Angry Camaro that want get right.

I have a 98 camaro with a ls1 Just completed a head and cam job, my mod is R torquer2 cam bbk intake mainifold bbk 85 throttle body bbk under drive pully 799 heads 3200stall msd wires kN air intake L/T header no cats Took it in to get a tune he told me my power was down. I seen cars with the same cam make 400 . But my car is at 343.32 max power and max torque 327.32. What is holding my power back. Is it a tuning issue or something i could have done mechaniclly when I put the heads and the cam in?

There are so many things it COULD be....

Do you have dyno sheets? a/f ratio? Vac gauge hooked up to the car?

check fuel pressure first. also try changing the fuel filter. also check the voltage out. a bad alt or battery can cause these problems. other than that you may want to see if your lined up dot to dot. you could have installed the cam one tooth off.

Unless you are missing some mods in you list, it sounds like you are still running stock exhaust. That could definitely be holding you back.

dot to dot looks good to me. what size push rods did you go with? also what thickness head gaskets? i've seen this before where the wrong size caused major power loss.

ok, did you have the heads milled, or have the block decked? also check to make sure that your tb is opening all the way when you put the peddle to the floor.

Man, there's really is no telling what it could be just by reading your post. Is it throwing any codes?

Also, how good is your tuner? He should be able to see what's wrong with the car, and he would be the one that needs to answer your questions. If he can't, get another tuner.

I agree, if the tuner can't give you some ideas what's wrong with the car sitting right in front of him he either doesn't know enough or doesn't want to help his customer much.

Either way, a new tuner would be a good idea.

WB02's or sniffer for tuning? No not really. Only a slight delay.

What exhaust are you running besides LTs? What size TB? 85mm? I'm not seeing any irregularities in the AF graph, other than not being able to see the numbers. It IS nice and flat though. Could he have choked your timing back too much?
