Default TSP Rumbler = OMG!!!!!

I finally cut off the old stocker and installed my new Rumbler.

I have stock manifold and stock cats, and with the Rumbler, I'm in love with the sound!!!

It has a really deep, throaty sound. No rasp. But there is some drone in the car between 1800-2100 rpm. So far, I'm ok with it. I figure you'll get that with any LM/Dynomouth/Rumbler kind of setup.

At idle, it's a low rumble; at normal take-off, it's a nice (not too loud) sound; at WOT, it's a monster!

Since I've been completely stock for 4 years, it's very nice to have a couple of mods. The car is responding well.

I'm buyin the Rumbler catback as well. I think it sounds awesome. And I also like the tips they offer. They look like chrome stock Z tips. Love those, anyway im going with flowtech headers, and flowtech Y, with TSP rumbler. I hope it doesnt get raspy and droney (is that a worD) anyway, you can just turn up the radio

I bought the TSP Rumbler a couple weeks ago and have not put it on yet...you guys are making me anxious to finish my engine rebuild and put the Rumbler on. I bought it without tips though. I plan on buying some stainless steel tips from Summit Racing. My only complaint with the Rumbler is that it is not stainless, but you cannot beat $225 for an exhaust setup. My setup with be with Hooker Long Tubes and an Off Road Y. My Flowmaster is going bye bye if anyone wants it.

Sweet, I was hoping that this catback would get some good posts. Now im going to get me this Rumbler.

Which tips(if any) did you get? I was thinking of getting the setup with no tips and getting a pair of borla's tips on the FS: forums here.

I went with no tips. I'll be getting some tips, as soon as I find some that I really like. For right now, there are no tips on it. It doesn't look too bad for the time being, just a little unfinished. The tubing is a little recessed behind the bumper cover, so it doesn't look like a half job.

I got the rumbler also and i did order the tips, but they were sold out because a lot of people are ordering just the tips, so guys like me who buy it have to wait. It's worth it because the car sounds awesome, but i too am experiencing that resonance around 2000 rpms. Someone posted that that will go away with headers, but say i was to get pacesetters, won't that make the car even louder than just the catback?

Yes it will be very loud with LTs... I have Pacesetters and ORY, and it is loud enough to get just about anyone's attention on the street.

I did a side-by-side comparison between my car and a fellow board member's who has PPC headers, Random Tech High Flow cats, and a Corsa exhaust... at idle we couldn't even hear his car even when we put our ears right by his tailpipes. It is LOUD... but sounds really good!

I havent yet purchased an exhaust yet for my TA, for the fact i am saving for a GMMG exhaust, but after reading these post, can someone tell me what they think of a TSP compared to the GMMG. Which is better?
I have heard sound clips of the GMMG and they sound great, but i havent heard the TSP, any help here?
Also, i have read many people that are going to GMMG and some that wish they would have.
This is kind of a hard choice for me, since I live in Jasper and all we have hear is M&M Exhaust place and they only cary flowmaster and Magnaflow.

yes a sound clip would be great (of the Rumbler with Pacesetters LT's/ORY)

i'm also thinking about getting the Rumbler but the way my pacesetter ORY is now...i cannot stand the banging so i'm also looking into 2.5" true duals

Well, i am still in round room looking for a corner here. I have the money now to get the GMMG, but there is a HUGE price differance between the 2 two catback exhaust systems. Does anyone know the hp gains between the two on a stock TA WS6?

If you have the money to get a GMMG man, get a GMMG catback, they sound sweet as hell. I wish I had enough money saved to get one of those catbacks.
