Throttle body problems
Throttle body problems Well guys, i got a throttle body the other day, it is a stock one ported and polished by east coast supercharging. i put it on before and the wire next to the throttle did not clip on, the metal piece was to big on the east coast S/c one. so i put my stock TB back on. what should i do about the metal stud being to big to fit the plastic clip on the wire next to the throttle cable?
i talked to the guy, supposly its from a 2000. i might swap the whole assembley, and just keep the actuall inlet that was ported. anyone know how to pull the rod out that goes through the TB?
Yes I do..... take off the Throttle position sensor. Take the throttlebody blade out and knock the shaft through the thottlebody on the sensor side. Make sure to catch the retaining ring when it comes out.

well i fixed it, took both the TB's apart, swapped the throttle piece, spring and the big rod that goes through it, put them back together and bolted right up. thanks for the help guys
