Default Shorty headers need a new y-pipe???

I want shorty headers for my t/a and no i dont want lt headers okay. But if i get shorty headers will i need to get a new y-pipe if so what kind? And will i need to keep replacing the gaskets if i get gm multi layered steel gaskets

dont get shortys.
you SHOULDNT have to keep replacing gaskets

I have a set of JBA shorties for sale, they bolt up to a stock y-pipe. Use factory GM gaskets and you'll have no problems.

How do shorties keep the value over LTs???
They're both changing from the original and both can be undone...
Only difference is LTs are actually worth the time to install.

Oh, and with regards to the gaskets I'd direct you here, to another thread you started two weeks ago:

If i get longtube headers will i have replace gaskets all the time

I'm not getting my panties in a bunch. I've been a noob before and know what it's like to want to get a lot of different opinions.
I never thought I'd be one of those members to say this, but try a search, lol.
In the last 15 days you've started seven new exhaust-related threads. It's a little excessive. And I'm actually trying to help you out here. If you look at longer, well established threads you find in the searches you'll see way more responses than by starting brand new threads for every question.
