Talking Future upgrades-any imput

Ok so I plan on getting a ms4 232/234 cam about 111 and a 3200-3600 stall, also some 3.73 gears.

My current parts are:
- fast toys ram air kit
- k&n filter
- slp lid
- slp smooth bellow
- port/polished & knife edged throttle body
- throttle body spacer
- LS6 intake manifold
- msd ignition wires
- pacesetter headers that are jet hot coated IN & OUT
- pacesetter off road y pipe (no cats)
- slp loudmouth 1 catback exhaust
- spohn strut tower brace
- edelbrock panhard bar
- slp 25% underdrive pulley
- slp fan switch
- transmission cooler
- trans go shift kit on auto transmission

So what do you think?

input not imput

skip the slp smooth bellow, throttle body spacer, spohn strut tower brace, edelbrock panhard bar. you can get a Fernco for the bellow, TB spacers are a joke, a STB isnt needed if you want to drag the car otherwise stick with one company for those two suspension pieces, there really not all the different

Thanks for the "input" and the grammer lesson, ;-) and if "their" not really that differentthen what does it matter if they are the same brand or not? Just asking. Also I don't plan on dragging it, I just would like to give it a little more power.

if you buy from lets say UMI, chances are someone is having a sale and you will get a better price. or you can troll the classifieds thread and get parts used. where the real difference comes into play is the thickness of the mounting brackets and the tubing walls. good luck

@Stippy17 If that stall will work well with that size cam. And just all around what everyone else has in their cars and how they like it.
@cookba I see what your saying now. I didn't think about that. Thank you.
@ULTIMATEORANGESS the fan switch was already on there when I bought the car, and I currently have a Superchips tuner on there now and it works well with the fan. I forgot to add the Superchip to my parts info.

get rid of the super chips crap too. with that cam you would want at least a 3600 stall prob a 4000 would be better. get a proper tune.

Yes a 3200-3600 stall will work well with that cam and those gears. Im running a Yank 3600 with a 224/230 cam and 3.42s gears with decent results. My car would run the 1/4 mile better with 3.73 gears, but my car is primarily my daily driver.

@Stippy17 I might look in the 3.42s cause I would like to keep it as a daily driver as well, thank you for the advise.

Drag strip performance will suffer, but 3.42s are better for gas mileage for a daily driver. BUT if you go with a 3200-3600 stall and 3.42s I wouldn't go with that big of a cam.

My car put down 398whp with my mods, and honestly its very easy to drive daily. The cam lopes nice at idle, but at cruise speeds the car runs very smooth.

Thats a tad smaller than my cam, but what kind of lift/lsa are we talking? That would be a good DD cam.

So with the Fernco, did you just go even measurement on both sides so its a straight through, and the TB spacer really doesn't make a difference?

Go ahead and do a little more research before buying anything. Some of the mods you listed aren't the best way to go.

LM1 with no cats and a cam is gonna make for rasp, rasp, and more rasp. Throttle body spacers and smooth bellows don't do anything. A strut tower brace is more an appearance mod than anything, and you can keep the stock panhard bar unless you plan on lowering the car more than an inch.

And for god's sake, DO NOT put an MS4 in a daily driven car. It's fine in a drag car or street/strip car, but regardless of how well the car is tuned, it's not going to smooth out the behavior of the cam. Think about driving to work at 7am in stop and go, do you really want to drive to work in a pro stock car?
