header questions for my 408

i have qtp 1 3/4 headers with the 4 inch ypipe. i can get a deal on a set of kooks 1 7/8 headers with the 3 inch y. i have a 408ci motor and car runs real good with the setup i have but i want more. question is can the kooks 1 7/8 fit qtp 4 inch y pipe. please any info would be helpful. exahust is slp lm2 with corsa tips, what would my best option for maximum performance please help

Most likely not if the 1 3/4 has a 4'' y pipe and 1 7/8'' has a 3''

I think you should upsize the headers, sell your old stuff and get a custom Y with a 3 into 4 flowmaster merge.

Bigger primaries, 3" Dual Y pipes into a 4" flowmaster merge. (keep Y pipe and sell headers)
