Ive done bullet in the I pipe a number of times. It will deepin the tone and highly reduce the rasp. The dynomax bullet is what I use mrsp 40 bux summit racing.

I got the BBK Y-pipe and I still have some rasp. I just made a plate for the Borla and it helped a lot. Wide open plate and LT's gets annoying except when you are WOT. I made one that has a 1.75" hole, but kinda wish I had went a little smaller. Still plenty loud it just kind of changes the tone.

Thanks again everyone for all the pointers, and thanks for the link to the great write up!

I plan on doing a 3" into 4" FM merge now and then run a cutout right after the merge. So I would need a 4" cutout and then would i reduce it back to 3" after the cutout to mate back up with the rest of exhaust?
