2x! A lot of people on here seem to think and post this. My car 60' in the 1.6s, runs 11.70s and drives great around town. I have a 3000 converter and a baby cam. When I go to the track I am taking out big cam stick cars, mild race cars and just about every late model pony car that shows up. And, I am at 3700lbs race weight! Unless you want a race car, what more could you want in a street cruiser?

Ya man dont waste your time with the 2800 stall you will be leaving a loton the table. A 3200 to 3600 stall would be perfect around town the difference in driving is minimal but when you stop on it the 3600 is leaps better than the 3200. I do agree 4000 might be a little much for a totally street driven car which is where the 3600 fills the gap/
What rear gears do you have? If they are 3.23s or larger then I would do the 3600 if you have taller gears like 2.73's then go with the 3200

after my heads/cam, i didn't notice any noticeable drop in freeway mileage. imo, its the stall that kills the mileage (despite what everyone who lives in the boonies will tell you).
if you're worried about gas mileage, i would not go with a stall if you're going to do any driving around town. it takes more gas and higher rpm to get the car moving.
back when i had just bolt-ons, a stall dropped my mileage quite a bit (3-4mpg average unless pure highway).
and with no stall, you're looking at a small cam.
if you do decide to go with a stall, might as well go big. personal experience: difference between a 3200 and a 3600+ isn't much driving around, but it really shines when you put your foot down.
