Default Ticking when engine is cold, slight lack of power.

When I first start my Firehawk in the morning when its cold, Im noticing I have a tick under acceleration. But when the engine gets to operating temp, it goes away. Now its nothing inside the head, its gotta be an exhaust leak, either the header gasket or possibly the collector. Thats my hypothesis anyway, sound about right?
Mods are: Pacesetter Longtubes, Catt-less ORY, Magnaflow Cat-back.
Thanks in advance!!

Really? Ive never heard piston slap, but Ive heard an exhaust leak that ticked and it sounds exactly the same, I just dont understand why if its exhaust it quits when the engine warms up.

If it goes away after reaching operating temperature, it is more than likely piston slap. You should hear my Firehawk in the morning. Same problem but once warmed up, its good to go..

Fixed it! two bolts on the last cylinder on the passenger side had vibrated out. Put Jew bolts in, and it not only sounds better, but has all the performance back! I fell back in love with this bitch lol!
