I hate to post this but.... PCV question.
I have the GMHTP valve covers on my car. I dont know what to do about a PCV system. My idea was to run an oil cap with a port on it then run that to a catch can and then to the throttle body. Will this work?
Also, what happened to the good ole days of running a oil cap with a port on it and a hose to the header collector to pull the vapors out of the crank case?

You'll still get blow-by with an LS6 valley. Only way to stop oil getting into the intake is with a catch can.
Long thread but everything you want to know about catch can/PCV routing is here. https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...outing-ok.html There are excellent diagrams in it as well.

Drill and tap a hole in the driver side valve cover and install a 90* barbed fitting. Run a length of oil/fuel line hose from the fitting to your CC, then to the intake. For the fresh air inlet run a PCV breather in place of the oil cap, an run a short length of O/F hose to the TB hose fitting; Your done!
FYI, the only thing the LS6 valley cover did for me was eliminate running a hose from the driver side valve cover, you'll benefit a lot more from a fully functional, quality, properly sized, Catch Can!

There are many threads that have good information concerning this issue. Just be sure that you have your "clean" and "dirty" sides routed correctly, and it will solve/prevent most problems.

I've got the RX, but the SM seems really nice.
