Default a.i.r removel

guys, my question is this,on a 2002 t.a. when removing a.i.r tubes what is the tech. name for that a.i.r. part that sets back behind the driver side head. kinda looks like a junction box of some sort where the tubes kinda come together. Im getting some frc:s made and I need to tell the machanic to take that off also when he tears out the tubes. any Ideas.?

I have read it referred to as a "vacuum tree". I am not to sure if that is the absolute answer but it works for me. If he removes it he needs to plug the remaining small hose so there are no leaks.

Yea.. it's there you probably just didn't notice it. It's right on the drivers side where the hoses meet underneath the windshield kinda..

I guess I shouldn't have ripped it off then... What do I need to plug? I read something about a vacuum fitting?

All you need to do is remove the two bolts in front of the drivers side wheel. Once the flap comes down. You can use an extension to remove the four bolts. The pump should just drop out...
