Look back a few pages to Tony Mamo's thread on this intake. Been done. Cut cowl, remove wipers type of deal.
Not to hijack this thread, but wonderin if anybody could give me the internal Dimensions of the runners for a cross ram intake I,ll be attempting to build??

After it's all said and done, you have a hacked up car with a hideous looking intake, but performance gains are killer.

If you can deal with no wipeers, hacked up cowl and a large cowl hood and the huge bread box looking intake, I say go for it.

A possibility for wipers would be individual motors sourced from a stepvan supply company such as millsource. ???

I don't think there is much of a chance getting one to fit without losing wipers. Same with the single plane intakes.

They have a kit to run dual mini motors and accompanying switch for dual motors. Obviously the passenger side needs to move some.... just wondering if anyone has attempted or contemplated. Would be nice to fit it without losing wipers. I dont mind hacking my car to fit it, but not lose the wipers.

Not sure how you would keep the wipers in sync but you could always just run one wiper and keep the Rainx handy. Done that before.

I guess the switch does that, their is one for running a single motor and one for running dual motors.

Do you have a link to these? I'm in the same boat as I'm running a Super Victor single plane intake. Unfortunately I haven't found anyone running a single wiper with the cowl cut

*edit* never mind I found it

They are used for street rods , I just figure since my car is down a good bit of the winter this would be something to look into. IMO its the best intake if you can fit it under the hood. I have an ls1 intake, plan on doing a cam this winter and with winter ot will likely get an intake. I refuse to pay for an overpriced used ls6. The wipers have to stay, but that kit isn't too expensive considering everything else. Just digging to see what may have been done since it came out.
