I have this thing just hanging out in the rear of the engine bay. What is it?

doesnt that vacuum line with the bolt plugged into it connect to the rear of the intake manifold on the 99+ ls1's?

It's been a while since u took it off the car but I think it's mabe the solenoid for the air or evap. Why its right there though I don't know

it looks like the piece that snaps in to the side of the intake, think its for evap. it doesnt look like the one on my car (99) but the mount looks similar

The one hose goes into the back of the intake and the other with the bolt in it hooks to the "diaphram or circle piece" of the A.I.R.system
