2-step or not to 2-step!!!
So I understand that a 2-step helps a f/i car build boost before the launch and build the rpms. My question is is it a good idea to fun a 2-step on a n/a car. My mods are in my sig. So whats the call? And what 2-step do you guys recommend?
Ok for a manual absolutely. For an auto it all depends on tire and stall. When you have more power than the track can handle a 2-step is a nice way to be consistent.
Being mile high like you are you're already down on power. It may not help at all.

More than just ok for an M6 ... it is the only way to launch consistantly with a manual. Once you stage, you concentrate on the tree not your tach especially with a Pro Tree .... you just don't have time to fumble with rpm's. It is like launching with a trans brake on the stall.

Yes you need a 2 step for any kind of consistency in a manual. I figure out what the car will hold both on the street and the track and record the settings for each.
Here's what I'm using:

I use the MSD, wired to my transbrake switch.
Ok ill look into the msd set up. Wheres the best place to buy one? Also curious what rpm do you guys have yours set at? I use to launch my car roughly at 3800 rpm before my heads and cam swap.
Yes, we are in violant agreement.
I am curious, do you not lauch at your converter's stall speed since you have a trans brake? Educate me please!
