Default Thoughts on These Injectors?

** Had this in the fueling section (deleted) and it went unnoticed so I thought I would post it here for people that are "in the know" **

Bosch # 0280155759

Are these the same as "Red Tops" or are they a new design? I know they are 36# @ 58psi.... Just wondering if anyone has run this particular injector and what their impression was on a cammed car.

NO N2O on my car, and no plans, so I don't see the need for a 42#.

I can get 8 for 115 shipped.

Thanks for the thoughts and advice, guys.

*** EDIT***

Got part # 0280 155 811 from a Supercharged Pontiac. I believe they are 42lb @ 58psi, and White colored.

I'm not 100% sure, but that really looks like what I just sold.

BTW, I was at about 86% duty cycle when I had 36lb injectors in mine at 423rwhp.

So I'd still recommend the 42s, over 36s..

id say they are good to around 500 flywheel without straining them to hard they probably could do 500 rwhp but you would be using every drop they could provide i was checking my duty cycle with hptuners my stocker were still giving fuel at 117% but at 120% they stopped providing more fuel im not sure how thats possible i went to the red tops and was around 90% and switched to green tops i am at 71% rite now but since injectors are rated to only opperate to 80% duty cycle safely i wonder if hp tuners runs there 20% off so that when it reads 100% the injectors are acctually at 80% because i thought it was odd that my stock injectors completely maxed out at almost exactly 120% and all the injector calculators i have found said that the red tops should have more then supported my mods

Have you looked into the GM white bosch injectors from supercharged 3800 engines?

That's what I'm running, got them on ebay for $60 shipped. I think the price was a mistake though, but still you might be able to find them for around $100.

You can also have stock injectors resized.

Nevermind. I just bought a set of the ones you mentioned, Thunder.

146 shipped, all new o-rings and filtrer baskets, and flowmatched to within 2%.

Thoughts?
