Default Post Pics of your cutout location!

First off, if this needs to be moved to the Tools and Fabrication secion, go ahead...

I need to see the location of cutout pipes on the i pipe, like how close to the axle or front it is... I need to have my cutout in before i install my headers and ORY, so I was thinking on the catback pipe, just north of the axle somewhere. If someone has anything to share or add, please post! But what i really want is PICS!

Thanks guys.

In my Firehawk album, there is a pic of my cutout, just down from the Y-Pipe.

the best location is on the ORY itself right before the catback where it bends over the axle, that is where mine is, why dont you just put it behins the stock ory keep in mind you may want to wait cause your ory size will change from stock more than likely and you will want atleast a 3 inch cutout I would assume

I have the cutout (3") and am waiting for my TSP ORY (3"). So I should wait til i get my new ORY on before i weld it in? What about the beginning of the catback before the axle? Any chance i could sneak it in there?

Mine is before the axle. Replied to your question on the picture comments.

Thank you! This helps so much! So is that the catback pipe or part of the y pipe? It looks like its close to the axle, so ill assume catback?

Closer to axle is good place because of the sound and also you 'll be able to run the wire through the gromet that I believe is in the bottom rear seat.

Mine resides in the real estate that the rear passenger bottom seat cushion used to take up. I cut the floor. Bout the only way to tuck a 4 inch cutout

I believe there is an adequate amount of pictures to show exactly where to put it .

Right under the rear passenger seat is the best place. It is almost like it was made for one. That is where I have had my cutout on all of my cars.
