Default People with long tubes, ory, and lm1 come in!

So today is the first day of my semi completed exhaust! Tsp stainless 1 7/8 headers, to a tsp y, to lm1! Finally got some
Stuff welded, tucked up really nice, all snug! Now I say semi completed, because of the lm1 resonator! I don't know how you guys can enjoy this! It sounds bad. Clearly anyone running this set up has not heard a good sounding
System! Can't wait to swap out this muffler!

Other than that, I'm really happy with the headers and y pipe. I put the y in on the ground with minimal room and it hung way low with the u bolt
Clamps. Had a buddies shop weld it up and tuck it higher, and I have 5-6 inches of clearance, can't wait to lower it!

I'm surprised with such a nice quality y pipe they include half assed clearance ruining u bolt clamps.

But I'm happy I didn't get any other headers!

The butt dyno definitely is in full effect in the upper Rpms! Can't wait to swap
In a different muffler, my car sounds like a mustang and a civic had a half retarded baby. I guess some people just like zero tone and all rasp and drone!!

Yeah, **** those u-bolt clamps. TSP needs to just charge a few bucks more for their Y-pipe (it's already among the cheapest out there) and give you a good set of band clamps. Or at least give you an option at checkout to upgrade to band clamps. I'm lowered and need all the ground clearance I can get, so I took the band clamps off my Magnaflow catback and used them on my TSP ORY, and put the shitty clamps on the catback.

Yea, not only do they screw up clearance, but they're a total eye soar on an otherwise beautiful piece.

Yep. I've got about as much money in 3" band clamps as I do the Y itself

Swap the resonator for either a Magnaflow 14419 or a Borla 40085

Thats why I went with the LM2 personally, these cars don't need any "help" with sound from a retarded resonator. With my BBK LT's, the LM2 sounds fantastic! There's a video of it about 5 or 6 posts down in this same gen III external forum.

Hmmm I'm thinking a dynomax set up will work. Muffler is cheap enough.

Why did you buy a lm1 if you dont like the open header sound? Loudmouth 1 is basically as loud as it gets

A set of high flow cats and a magnaflow bullet will really tame it down and kill all the rasp. It will still sound pretty loud. I have heard dynomax before and I personally couldnt stand it. This however is all opinion.

To me the dynomax has no "tone." It's just loud.

There was a night and day difference when I started the MagnaMouth for the first time. The "raw" sound went away, and it sounded low; BASS, and "tone".

This is what I am doing! The LM1 with LTs and ORY is way too nasty.

Nice, I am running stainless headers 1 3/4 w/ LM2 cat back and 3" y pipe. I want to get the 1 7/8's but I am lowered and don't want ground clearance issues.

dont get dynomaxx, has no tone!, you should go with either loud mouth II, borla, or mangnaflow bullet mufflers. Cant really go wrong with does, and by the way loud mouth II is a way better upgrade then lm1

Well you're in luck then, b/c it doesn't matter what size the 4 primaries are on each header.... The colector is still 3" and doesn't affect GC

The lm1 came with the car, and it was tolerable until the long tube install. Maybe I'll get a magnaflow. From the videos I've heard dynomax sounds a 1000 times better them lm1, but might as well do it right the first time!

I found the magnaflow muffler for $70, seems like the best option!

Yeah its pretty much what you can expect. I mean there is no mufflers with that setup. If I remeber correctly when my buddy ran open headers it sounded very close to the lm1/ory/lt combo.
