Default ls6 manifold

Hey guys could anyone let me know exactly why I need to get a tune after I install an ls6 manifold. Im looking at getting one and am wondering if I should wait to tune it since I just did long tubes.

i see your car is a 99' ... by installing an ls6 manifold you will be forced to get rid of your EGR.. maybe you already did since you have longtubes. Anyway, it is recommended you get a tune.

No cam for a while and I deleted egr/air. So I'm guessing it wouldnt hurt to tune it now. And then a few months down the road do the manifold and tune It again since my buddy does It semi cheap.

So did u ditch the EGR and AIR? how much ur buddy guna charge for tune? I would tune out for EGR and AIR. ECU should be able to learn itself from the intake change... Some one correct me if I'm wrong...

^^^ someone*** and spend a few bux on Ported TB if u havnt already... I would if i wer you.

I didn't see where he said that? Just that he !EGR !AIR...?

I would only tune after intake/exhaust, whichever order it comes in.. If you tuned after exhaust I would do the intake and then wait until you get another mod to tune it.

at best, send your PCM to East Coast Supercharging for a flash tune. Only 150.00. For those minor of mods they can work wonders without the needs to do a full roller dyno tune.

Get every thing your going to do on the car and then get it tuned. If the exhaust and intake are all your doing for a while, tune it with those parts and enjoy it.

Alright that sounds good. I also did find someone to port and polish my throttle Body for about 75 bucks so I'll get that right away.
