Which pipe do you mean?

A single exhaust tip or do you mean from the collectors to the Y pipe and back to the muffler?

from the y pipe right back to the tip, its not a true straight pipe but no cats or muffler

Welcome to LS1 Tech.

That's a standard exhaust for our cars. The Y pipe setup comes stock like that. Stock it comes with exhaust manifolds, cats, into a Y and out back to a crossflow muffler.

People upgrade to a true dual system, but there are many Y pipe setups that work perfectly fine too.

I installed headers, removed the cats and added a ORY (Off Road Y) and a muffler.
