???? i bought my 02 z28 about a month ago the only thing i dont like about it and dont understand is why someone put a single straight pipe on it believe its 2.5" can anyone tell me why someone may do this. thanks

That's a standard exhaust for our cars. The Y pipe setup comes stock like that. Stock it comes with exhaust manifolds, cats, into a Y and out back to a crossflow muffler.
People upgrade to a true dual system, but there are many Y pipe setups that work perfectly fine too.
I installed headers, removed the cats and added a ORY (Off Road Y) and a muffler.
