Dude, he has heads and cam already. There is no other mod at this point that will yield more NA hp. Period. Get your **** straight. They are trying to tell you and you just wont listen.

Joe, get the new 92 with a 92 or 95 TB. I think you'll be pleased with the results.

Yes sir my sig will soon say TEA ls6 stage 2. Cant wait to get results

What all is needed for the 92 just the 92 tb? Or is there more?

The 102 sounds like a hassle whats it need a tb, different fuel rails, grinding water pump or something?
^^^ well you NEED a 92TB... you can run your stock fuel rails... But if your goin H/C I would throw in some bigger injectors to get the most out of it..

There are sale prices on those intakes all the time. Plus he can sell his LS6 for $300+ if it's in good condition. And when it comes to HP per dollar, 20+ rwh/rwt is damn good for the thousand dollar range. So when it really comes down to it, he's not pissing away money. Especially on a H/C combo. The only thing I can see in his "SIG" he will need to upgrade would be his gear ratio. As far as something bolt-on wise that would compliment his H/C combo, there isn't anything he can bolt on that will net him the gains a FAST 92 or 102 will add on.

Bolt on yes but I guess im just not the type of person that will just keep spending to get a little extra xp lol. Like when they come out with the Fast 103 everyone will sell their 102s and yell at the people with 102s. Just playing.. but seems how it is.. When ls6 is already a very good intake.

It's not a "little" extra HP. That's what you fail to comprehend. Yes, the LS6 is a good intake....but there is better intakes for a H/C set up. It's okay dude, you don't get it and I don't expect you too being you have never tested the waters.

true, I have never had one:S is it a lot better than the BBK ssi? was thinking about getting that one as I have the LS1 intake but if the fast is so much better might as well get that.

What 95% of people fail to remember is that the LS6 was designed to work with an LS6 cam. And anyone who has an LS6 cam knows it dies at 5500, as does the intake. When you add a cam that shifts at 65 to 6800, you need an intake that can keep up in the top end, which is what a FAST does. So OP yes you should do it. Expect a 15-30 rwhp gain.

Yeah I'm so glad the FAST 92s came back out, now I can buy a used one for cheap. I'm somewhat on a budget and was planning on an LS6.

I would say if you have the money to buy a 92/92 setup than do it. They do net great numbers over the LS6. But with the that setup I would also get a new lid and MAF to make sure the air flow is not cut off going into the lid.

BTW, what cam did you end up going with?

Wow! Great info guys thanks! Where to begin...
Its overwelming hearing the kind of additional power I could pick up going fast. I would def regret not doing it.
I think I should do a new 92mm. Im a little confused as to what it is I will need in addition to the intake to make it work.
92mm tb and...
new lid? new maf? new bellow?
Whats everything ill need?

The intake will come with all the mounting bolts & gaskets. Here is a link for the lid. Also, look into a GM 85mm MAF, smooth elbow and a Nick Williams 92mm TB or go with the Fast Big Mouth 92 TB. I'm running the Fast Toys 98mm lid, 85mm MAF, SLP elbow, Fast 92 big mouth TB.

The only thing you have to have is the intake and TB... I'm pretty sure you don't even need adapters for stock ls1 injectors.

Optional- MAF, lid, etc...

Most people forget the FAST has much more gains under the curve and throughout the whole powerband. Combos necessitating the intake benefit more from this...not so much peak numbers, but that's what the majority of ppl look at is that +xx peak hp.

^^^ did you need to open up the inside diameter for the bellow to fit on the 92? Also PTM is a good TB to go with. Check out TSP. my buddy has one. Clean. I would go NW tho... Work of art

If you have the money and can swing it the fast 102 is the best and will show gains on your car everywhere sans 1500 rpms. Especially since you have a decent set of heads. Id go with a 92 TB to keep hassles down.

If money is tight go with the 92 used. Bet a lot of people that hanged on to them to make money are mad now...

Get a bigger lid and a GM 85 MAF too
