Default Installing TSP 1 7/8" Headers next week

So I'm installing TSP Headers next week, with their y-pipe, and I'm making sure I've got everything I need and I'm doing everything right.

*Get the car jacked up atleast 24"
*New Spark Plugs (from TSP)
*New Motor Mounts (Poly's)
*TSP Off-road y(is pacesetter any different?)
*New GM Gaskets (from TSP)
*Exhaust Band Clamps
*Frost Mail Order tune

How's all that sound? Right now, all I have is a Corsa catback with cutout and a lid. Pretty excited! But I know it's going to be a hassle with that old car

^^^ be VERY careful with exhaust bolts!!! Many brake them... Hit them with PB/WD40 for the whole week before you do the swap... Be careful and take your time. You dnt want to break anything... And I suggest NEW O2 sensors... Buy the Corvette O2s... They are longer. You will not need O2 extensions...

Yes, more power. I plan on doing heads/cam next year anyways so I'm going all out now.

In the posters defence there are times when 1 3/4" headers may be better. It is all about the speed of the exhaust and the pull it creates on the intake port during the overlap period.

The only time I myself have ever seen that to be true would be with a C5, and that has more to do with the primary design and length more than anything.

Also, I only needed 17.5" from the bottom of the K to the garage floor. 24" seems pretty high to me.

I did it and the passenger side was a breeze. I had to take the oil filter off and unbolt the trans from the crossmember (1 bolt). Then pry the motor and trans over that extra 1/4" to make everything clear. It took me 4-5 hours from jack up to jack down and drive to the muffler shop.
