Vertical Mount Throttle body?
I have a Trans Am, and want to run a shaker on the motor. I have to either mount an air box over the motor, or do this.
How would running a intake like that and throttle body on top of it effect the performance verses like an LS6 intake?
Also, what Throttle body could I use with it?
Thanks.

Looks like a carb style set-up. Plenty of info out there and will be superior to the ls6.....cool points will be off the charts too. Check the hybrid section or do a search, something will come up.

I still want to run coils, injectors exactly like a stock LS1.
I would even want to keep the stock TB if I can. I don't want to sacrifice performance or Gas mileage.

Got this back...
"Mounting it vertically will have no effect on it. We use the truck 87mm because of the drive by wire motor on the throttle body provides more clearance for the air filter. The single plane intake will make more peak power but less power across the useable rpm range like street driving. It will not work with cable driven throttle bodies with serious modification as it was not designed for them. It also is designed for Speed Density systems(no mass air). "
Problem for me, I want a drive by cable, and MAF
