Default Budget true duals?

What parts should I buy such as mufflers and x pipe and have a shop bend the tubing. What mufflers are good for the street but still make good power? I have read other posts from years ago but would like your input thanks.

how much do you think that would cost for an exhaust shop to weld up?

Depends on your location, best thing to do would be to call and ask or stop by one day to a couple local places.

I had my true duals fabbed up from the headers all the way to the back. I paid $300 including mufflers and tips.

What kit have people bought from summit? I see they have a narrow kit also assuming that would be a easier fit

i have an awesome set of mufflers in the for sale section, they were on my true dual kit from TSP and already have the rubber bushing hangers welded on......they're from Classic Chambered with a full 3" inside diameter, will slide right in behind an x-pipe if you're planning on dumping before the axle.

This is not over the axle. It does however have a way to loosen the exhaust to lower it so the rear axle doesn't break the hanger when it's on a lift. I don't have pics of my set up but I WILL get them today and post them in this thread. This is 2.5 inch pipe too not 3inch. And ground clearance isn't bad at all. I am at factory ride height though.

I was hoping to see it up on a lift and shot from down under. I wanted to see the design of the complete system, just hard to tell much from pics down on the ground.

Quiet will cost more than loud on average. Also, quiet usually requires a larger case, and space is at a premium under these cars. Cheapest is the universal X and bullets, it will just be loud.

True , the universal X dumped will be cheap, loud and does not take a high skill level to install.Disadvantages to this too much noise and exhaust right underneath you for a DD or car that your going to spend any time in at all. Real loud all the time gets old real quick IMO. And I have yet to see one that is not hang'n low. I like to see exhaust high and tight.
