Finally hand fabbing my enderlie style air intake from sheet aluminum to go along with my modified 2010 camaro nose on my 83 el camino. Will probably be fully polished with red butterflies.

I first had to lower the radiator slightly, shorten my maf sensor, incorporate iat sensor into it, * modify a new spectre open front cone filter to fit it in the allowed space. The `hat' fits over the filter & is open underneath with attaching flanges. Thinkin about bending & shaping abs plastic rather than aluminum for bottom covers. Will be attaching to throttle , possibly with simple pull cable & light spring to not cause throttle body function interference.
Hopefully next year I can get back to making my polished aluminum dual plenum cross ram intake, which should tie in nicely with the new hat.
Along with the filterhat, I'm also fabricating the engine bay cover, which I'm looking for more possible ideas of what to make to go between cover & engine down to frame & suspension. Will probably be aluminum sheet in screw together pcs with stiffening reinforcement &probably punched & flared holes for venting to fendervents.
