I have tsp 1 7/8 headers with 3" exhaust into super 44's....love it at idle...great deep rumble...but when I'm driving I have a large amount of rasp....I have dumps just before the axes...will downturns solve the problem?

 

No but having pipes till the bumper will, as will high flow cats.

 

I dont have cats on the car...and I don't want to put them on...I have thought about putting new mufflers on (for a new sound and clearance issues ). And running pipes the rest of the way out

 

I had true duals under the axle all the way out with no x or h pipe an flowmaster 40's and had rasp.... Switched to tsp true duals and rasp is gone so imo give some bullet style muffles a try....Do u have an x or h pipe? If not that also may be some of the problem as well. Good luck.

I have a x pipe . I kinda want to try some billets ..they sounds really good to me

 

I recently switched over to TSP true duals with the bullets. I am loving the way it sounds now.

 

I think you will like the bullets man.......
