Yeah it is. We have talked about an optical sensor or something similar but that's as far as it's gone.

i could build one from an Arduino with outputs on a small LCD but my plate has been pretty full filling orders for parts. Definitely on my to do list.

As far as an ls3 intake on ls1 heads, it won't work. The flow direction will abruptly change TWICE before it goes into the heads. The blower works because the air enters the head vertically, instead of perpendicular to the intake port surface as with a standard manifold. The air would make a Z path, not a straight one. Get an LS2 manifold and be a lot happier.
The air flow path making a Z , is it the floor impractical that you are referring to ? I could see once it drops off the LS3 flange , it would have to climb back up the ramp of the floor.

I've actually gone over this before. There was another thread on here that had a drawing that the admins deleted. The entry angle of the lsa blower is vertical, so if you used an ls3 manifold, it would essentially hit the wall of the adapter, be directed downward, then hit the floor of the port in the head, and have to change directions again to flow towards the valve.

Thank you for the reply back, sorry to make you cover the same ground twice. I would like to have seen that drawing , don't understand why it would have been deleted even if there was a another sponsor on here selling this adaptor plate .I still don't know what wall your refering to by hit the wall.. I would describe it like a waterfall , then climbing up a hill to to the bowl.

This is an insanely innacurate. picture, I can't find the other one. The angles in real life are a lot more drastic.

I'm trying to upload a few pics but I'll have to do it from my pc. 5.3 made 550ish. 500 ft lbs from 3000rpm and up.

And another user on here is also on performance trucks and he posted some vids. Here's the link.

I'm assuming these would work on a junkyard 5.3 mated to a kenne bell ?

these will work to convert any blower from square port to fit on cathedral heads. doesnt work well if you are trying to use a stock manifold though.

Ya they copied my design just like lsx precision. Mine are still cheaper and fit better.

Lots of LS Cathedral installs going on lately. Most of them used our in house parts or a combo of OEM and ours.

you just gave me hope to have this possibly fit under my third gen hood. Does it's sit any higher than it would if using normal LS3 style heads?

the blower with lid is about the same height as a truck intake. so i doubt itll fit under a stock 3rd gen hood even with ls3 heads, but the spacers add 1/2" overall if you have to use them
