weird oil leak, changed everything, pic
ok, i have so far changed oil pan gasket, valley cover, valve covers, rear main, all new intake, knock sensors, rear cover gasket. the funny thing is drips a few drips when i shut the car off, not when i drive. 130,000 miles. its a little on both sides of the block.

is that the piece right above the filter with 2 bolts in it?? how do i fix that?
also i did use rtv in the corners of pan and also the flexplate bolts are ARP and brand new cause i just did a converter/flexplate

Not a bunch but some will. My motor was leaking from there as well as the crank sensor (which is by the starter). I was getting a few drops of oil after I shut the engine off as well...

not much. the seal is like $10 at the dealer and I just found one for $4 bucks on ebay. The oil you are seeing on the other side of the motor is probably from the flexplate fanning it that way

also if its up above like behind intake or something like that you wont be able to see it

If you can't find it at a local parts store any GM dealer will have it.
You'll need a black light to be able to see the dye in the oil. Some guys don't use a black light, I can never see it without one. Even if it's behind the intake you'll be able to follow it up and find where it's leaking from. This may involve removing the intake or other parts to locate it but it's better then throwing parts at it and hoping it'll fix it.
