Kooks headers, true duals, poly mounts installed. Thoughts
First impressions...honestly before anything I thought my car was misfiring because of that damn poly trans mount! I've had a few Fbodies with poly motor mounts before and loved them, I may have to grow into this poly motor/trans mount combo, the car vibrates a lot inside.
Now, the exhaust.
God damn does it sound good, I've had every ORY and catted Y in the book and liked them all, but this is different. This is louder (in the sense that it is deeper sounding). Startup was so exciting, car sounds awesome. Deep, throaty and grumbly. Don't let anyone tell you the kooks true dual without cats isn't loud...it is. It is like ORY and dumped bullet loud, but deeper. Maybe louder. Tone is killer, all the way to redline. Sounds more like a NASCAR car, than a mustang. It's not as deep as a 4.6, but it just sounds more racey.
I went with the dual/dual tips and the founders panhard relo kit.
Please, any questions, ask away!
Yes it is loud, no rasp, yes the tips suck to lineup, no the pipes don't drag anywhere, this kit is insane expensive and you get what you pay for.
I've had poly motor mounts before and loved them...this must be coming from the poly trans mount. I don't think it is tune related.

It was my first drive in the car....gonna give it a while.
Videos soon, I promise. My camera phone wont have the best audio, though.
The only time it caused vibration was when the bolt was loose

The install wasn't bad at all, however lining up the tips is! I would say motor mounts are the hardest part, followed by lining the damn tips up. Everything else falls right into place.
Ground clearance is very good, we have awful roads and haven't heard as much as a little rub!
I would like to lower the car in the future, but I wouldnt go extreme, maybe some Bilsteins and Stranos.
Snow is headed our way...car is packed away for now.
