Default Sweet Thunders v. Delta Force 10s

Okay, looking to setup for true dual exhaust. I'm now down to deciding on the mufflers. A while back, I had everything figured out. Last night, I started searching around ls1tech for previous posts about which of the two sounded better, sweet thunders or delta force 10s, and could find nothing.

So my question is this. Of the two mufflers listed, which one is deeper? I know piping also depends on how deep it is, which is why I'm going 3" H-Pipe. However, this works as a system, so I want to know which of these mufflers will give a deeper idle sound.

As usual, thanks for all the great help guys.

I've heard a lot of mufflers....dynonax, and flowmaster super 10s being a couple favorites. But sweetthunders on an ls1 is by far the best I've heard/have. Deep but throaty at idle and screams wot. Gettem and don't think about it anymore.

The sweet thunders by far. They are very deep without the hollow sound you get from flowmaster

That's what I needed to hear. I've seen a few videos on youtube and from what I could gather, the Sweet Thunders sounded better. But let's be honest, hearing it on video and witnessing it in person is hardly the same. Thanks for the help. Decision made. Sweet Thunders.

BTW, what extension are you running? I'm assuming 18"?

I love the sound of bullets and they were damn loud. From hearing sound clips, the sweet thunders were even louder!!

You won't regret the sweet thunders!!

Alright, cool. Thanks for the responses. I'll be going with Sweet Thunders. I just love it when you walk up to a sports car that's cammed and it just feels and sounds mean at idle with a deep low note to it. Sounds like Sweet Thunders will do just that for me.

I am going to step in and say Flowmaster 10s....just a single muffler with LTs and an ORY sounded real deep and mean. My guess is the Flow10 will have a deeper, more hollow sound to it. But you cannot go wrong with either.

If you want the deepest, bassiest, sets-off-car-alarms-in-the-parkling-lot, you can't go wrong with a pair of Magnaflow 14419's
